Nginx - Take it Easy

The thing that i used to think was too complex but tbh it's a piece of cake so let's get start it.

Lil bit of History

Nginx was originally made to solve the C10K problem which was servers having that they cannot handle 10K concurrent connections and server crashes. So the working of previous servers (Apache) was to assign every single user a seprate process so when 10K users connects to the website it crashes.

Then in nginx asynchronous non-blocking architecture was introduced the very same reason JavaScript out performs even being a single threaded language.

Prerequisite

A linux system (either VM, WSL or even better linux basesd OS/Distro whatever you prefer to say)
A little knowledge of Web Development
You should know CLI

Nginx Installation

For ubuntu you can do

bash

sudo apt update
sudo apt install nginx

Now we need to enable it

bash

sudo systemctl enable --now nginx
# Also check status
sudo systemctl status nginx
# It must be Active(running) something like that

You need to run command with sudo cause I’ve super user privilages in my vps so I don’t need to use script with sudo

#: Meaning you’ve super user privilages
$: Meaning you’ve normal user privilages

so don’t worry about that.

Make an HTML file to Serve

Edit Nginx Configuration file

open config file in editor

and do

save this config

now

now test local
